Angus Council is investing over £150,000 in upgrading two former aircraft hangers on Montrose's Broomfield Industrial Estate. The works, currently in progress, are part of the Council's programme to eliminate asbestos from its property portfolio.
The works are being carried out with the full co-operation of the current tenant - Crown Worldwide industrial units Aberdeen- and in order to minimise disruption to the company the Council has provided alternative accommodation for the firm while the contract is progressing.
The works are part of the latest phase of local authority investment in the industrial estate.
